The majority of countries are committed to improving the environment for their residents both today and in years to come. Unfortunately, climate change has had quite an impact on this planet and therefore it is important that targets to, for instance, lower carbon emissions are achieved within the timescale laid down by governments.

For instance, over the years, a number of countries that have coastal borders have witnessed water levels rise due to a change in the climate resulting in land next to the sea eroding. This has meant that quite a few homes built on cliffs in very close proximity to our oceans have dropped into the sea and been destroyed meaning that those families have had to find alternative accommodation.

Anything that can be done to stop this sort of thing happening has got to be welcomed. Fortunately, there are a variety of ways in which the environment can be protected such as by encouraging people to take their unwanted clothes to recycling banks to be used by those in need or made into other things and producing energy using the likes of solar power rather than by things like coal thus lowering carbon emissions that could prove harmful.

Most homes in this country now have two refuse bins – one to put general household rubbish in and the other to put things like plastic bottles and cardboard boxes in so that the later can be recycled. This is just another example of how people can help preserve the environment. Many businesses are also adopting the same policy.

We are pleased to inform you that Re-Tex is doing its part to help improve the environment and, at the same time, help impoverished people in various countries around the world. One of the ways that we do this is to recycle unwanted clothing that we obtain from a number of sources including some of the well-known charities here in the UK. We arrange for old clothing and other items to be transported overseas to be put to good use whether those clothes are worn by people or made into other fabrics.

So, if you would like to play your part in making the world in which we all share more environmentally friendly, why not make contact with us here at Re-Tex to discuss the recycling and/or shipment of the likes of second hand clothing to various third world countries. We look forward to speaking with you.
